stupidinboston: Snowing again outside, and it’s going to get to 13 °F with windchill, so way to cold to bring Princess down to first night. So we are stuck inside. Going to start a fire, eat some shrimp, and drink some wine. Record snowfall already in Fargo.  “The numbers are in: This isn’t just the snowiest December on record in Fargo. It’s the snowiest month - period. The previous record of 31.5 inches set in January 1989 was shattered today as 8.8 inches of snowfall brought this month’s total to 33.5 inches as of 12:30 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. That also beats the previous record for December of 29.2 inches set in 1927.” And this morning when I got up, it was 23 below zero (actual temp) and 52 below with the windchill.  No, it’s not this cold every day up here, but it can get deathly frigid and stay this way for days, even a couple of weeks in a row.  Yes, we love our springs and summers.  You betcha.
