Tumblrs: avoid over-posting. Imagine this is IRL and you are at a dinner with your family. Aunt Susan would like to share her thoughts on the Darfur, but she is being overshadowed by your chattiness. You may not be aware of it, but you are causing others discomfort, and you run the risk of being tiresome. Spread multiple posts over a timeframe, or timestamp them in the future if you are in a rush to post.

Don’t read what doesn’t interest you.  If I thought you were joking about these rules, I’d be laughing.  But suspecting that you are not joking, I can only say that I’m reallllllllyyyy wondering where you got such a need to impose.  It’s quite undemocratic and very very unZen.
